TechniSat celebrates 20th anniversary with Czech dealers at Schöneck production site
A TechniSat in-house event was held at the Schöneck production site in Germany from May 11th to 12th, under the slogan "20 years of Schöneck - 25 years of TechniSat". On this occasion, dealers from the Czech Republic were invited to visit the production plant where, among other things, the new TechniStar SIR Skylink digital receivers are manufactured. Besides exclusive insights into forthcoming product generations, the primary focus was on the TechniCorder ISIO and DIGIT ISIO digital receivers with their comprehensive Internet functions. The high quality ISIO receivers are manufactured to the highest standards in Schöneck and thus represent Made in Germany best quality.
Exclusive tour through the production area
TechniSat has been manufacturing digital receivers and satellite installation technology at the Schöneck production site for 20 years now. The Czech visitors were able to get an insight into the production processes and the high standards of manufacturing quality during an exclusive tour of the production plant.
Specialist seminar for dealers
During the in-house event, the visiting dealers were able to participate in a seminar on key subjects concerning digital receivers, smart TV and ISIO content. TechniSat seminars offer dealers the opportunity of continually strengthening their product knowledge and learning about innovations.
Comprehensive framework programme
Besides the seminar programme and product presentations, an enjoyable supporting programme was offered. A bus trip to one of the most modern ski jump sites in the world - the Vogtland Arena - generated great interest. The evening event with a live band created a party atmosphere and completed this successful event.

The privatisation of Klingenthaler Harmonika Werke resulted in the creation of TechniSat Vogtland GmbH in Schöneck (Vogtland) on June 1st 1992, which has been involved in the production of TechniSat devices ever since. The very latest in modern SMD assembly machines ensures the consistently high quality of TechniSat products. TechniSat has invested heavily in the site and thus created dozens of long-term jobs. Today over 120 employees work at Schöneck on the production of high-quality HDTV receivers, decryption modules, multiswitches, TechniRouter single cable solutions and satellite installation products.
