Car camera resolution is important because it allows to read the license plate of the perpetrator of the accident. ROADCAM 1 CE records in Full HD (1920x1080).

It also records sound. The camera has a wide-angle lens (170 °) and 4x digital zoom. The whole is completed by a readable LCD screen.

Safe car in the parking lot

Now you can leave your car in the parking lot. Parking mode is a function that makes your car safe. The camera after detecting vibrations (e.g. parking bumps or burglary) turns on and records a short 10 sec. movie recording event. You don't need to be in the car for ROADCAM 1 CE to protect your vehicle.

Save recordings from an accident

ROADCAM 1 CE uses a rapid acceleration or deceleration sensor (G-sensor). If a collision is detected, the camera automatically protects the last video file against accidental deletion. The accelerometer sensitivity can be individually set in the camera menu.

Clear image, also against the light

The ROADCAM 1 CE image has a wide HDR (High Dynamic Range) brightness range that is comparable to that seen by humans. Most of the devices available on the market are not able to record the full dynamic range of human vision (LDR). While ROADCAM 1 CE uses HDR to improve the quality of video recordings when the camera is facing the light.

Loop recording

The camera has various recording settings: single shutter / time recording / continuous recording. In addition, with ROADCAM 1 CE you do not have to worry about the lack of space and the constant deletion of archived files. The recorder records the image in continuous mode. This means overwriting older files with newer ones.

The miniUSB connector is used to connect to a PC for data transmission from the device's memory. With its help it is possible to charge the battery or provide power necessary for the device to work.

The camera has a built-in motion detector. After starting the car, the video will start automatically. After stopping the car, the delay time is 5 seconds. After this time, the recording is automatically turned off by the device.
