TechniSat Digital has launched the long awaited HDFS® Satellite HD digital receiver – a premium product for the reception of all Freesat SD and HD services plus extended features and functionality.
The HDFS® provides unrivalled functionality offering playback of movies, music and pictures from USB memory sticks, SD/MS/MMC cards, CompactFlash or a networked PC via LAN or wirelessly using the optional USB WLAN Adaptor.
TechniSat’s R&D Manager, Martin Wilks said “In line with Freesat’s request for innovative receivers, we have developed the HDFS® with an extended feature set including home networking capability via LAN or optional WLAN and multi-satellite operation with DiSEqC 1.2 support.
The TechniSat HDFS® recently received a Gold Award from What Satellite & Digital TV magazine and deputy editor Grant Rennell commented, “If you demand more from a Freesat box, then this is the HD receiver to go for.”
