In issue 03/05 of its publication ?test?, the independent German consumer testing organisation Stiftung Warentest has awarded the TechniSat DigiPal 2 the highest rating ?Good? in a review of twelve DVB-T receivers.
Outstanding: Of all the receivers in this test, the TechniSat DigiPal 2 has the lowest power consumption, a fact that led Stiftung Warentest to also award the ?Good? rating under the heading of environmental factors.
The TechniSat DigiPal 2 is the most widely sold DVB-T receiver in Germany. Apart from excellent reception characteristics for both picture and sound, the DigiPal 2 features the free electronic programme guide (EPG) ?SiehFern INFO?, with editorial content by the house of TechniSat, providing programme previews for up to seven days in advance, as well as software updates via the antenna.
The current review and rating by Stiftung Warentest is yet another important accolade for the TechniSat DigiPal 2. Just recently, the specialist publication ?HOMEVISION?, published by WEKA, rated the TechniSat DigiPal 2 as the absolute test winner in a comparison with seven DVB-T receivers from other manufacturers.
