The DIGITRADIO 580 is a powerful hybrid radio with a large, illuminated OLED display and modern top quality design. Apart from a variety of radio stations via DAB+ and FM, you also have access via LAN/WLAN to thousands of Internet radio stations, as well as UPnP sharing from PCs, smartphones or NAS hard drives in the network. As a Spotify user with a Premium account, you can stream music directly to the radio using the online streaming service via Spotify Connect. Moreover, the device can be integrated into Technisat's multi-room audio system, with which various radios and speakers in different rooms can be connected. You can also use the front loading slot-in CD player with MP3 function to listen to your favourite CDs whenever you want. Mobile devices can be easily charged using the USB connection.

Via multiroom streaming you can connect up to five DigitRadios or speakers from different rooms in your network. You can create groups to play the same music from a single source at the same time. DAB+ overcomes the regionally limited array of FM stations, by offering more than a dozen radio stations broadcasted nationwide, in optimal digital quality. There are also numerous national and regional broadcasters extending their radio offerings with additional channels. Tedious searching and tuning of radio stations are also things of the past. All you do is select the name of the station you want - TechniSat DAB+ digital radios display a list of all the digital radio channels you can receive.

Via audio streaming, you can easily access UPnP media sharing at any time, e.g. on a network hard drive or a device acting as a UPnP server, such as a TechniSat MultyVision or a PC. In this way, you can listen to your favourite music on your device directly from the home network.
