In Hall 1, Booth A.44, TechniSat Digital S.A. will present the highlights of its 2011 product range for OEM and project businesses, as well as reference products from customers that have already benefited from TechniSat´s experience.
TechniSat will demonstrate several new innovations including the ISIO range of DVB/IP Hybrid products, a DVB-T2 set-top box customized for Freeview HD in the UK, and a Boxer TV approved OEM set-top box for the Scandinavian market which will be supplied exclusively to TRIAX A/S, as well as a new low cost DVB-T HD set-top box.

Hybrid set-top box and IDTVs for IP and DVB reception
With the ISIO product series, TechniSat is introducing IP reception to its multi-tuner IDTVs – providing a fourth content delivery format to the existing DVB-S, DVB-C and DVB-T reception. The MultyVision ISIO IDTVs feature eLED technology and offer outstanding features and functionality, including DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and multimedia playback from external storage and networked PCs. The IP functionality provides UPnP/DLNA connectivity, HbbTV compatibility, and widget support. Furthermore, the range provides the TechniFamily feature, an extended EPG and Video-on-Demand support.

Next to IDTVs, TechniSat offers set-top boxes for cable and satellite reception extended by IP functionality. This new devices feature many innovations. First of all, they offer an integrated internet functionality which enables them both to receive either DVB-S or DVB-C, and internet signals. Discover the Internet on your TV and enjoy the access to TechniSat´s new service portal ISIO Live!; free browsing and watching HbbTV is possible as well. When using your home network, the ISIO devices support Universal Plug and Play (server and client), and you can easily handle a variety of multimedia data such as digital pictures, music, and videos. A web interface for the programming of timers is integrated, too.
The ISIO devices for the international markets will be launched in autumn 2011. They will be equipped with a prepared internet favourite list corresponding to the country, offering all content partners with ready developed CE-HTML sites – such as VOD services, sport, news, music, or general information. As DRM systems TechniSat is in cooperation with Windows DRM, PlayReady, Secure Media and DivX.
TechniSat would like to invite all those interested in this new generation of IDTVs and set-top boxes to Hall 1, Booth A.44 at IBC 2011 in Amsterdam. Those products – no matter if set-top boxes or IDTVs could already convince by outstanding test results in the last months.
