TechniSat is to be a marketing partner for the new Sky CI Plus module for digital TVs and digital satellite receivers, starting in December.
Following a collaboration with Sky, suitable CI+ enabled TechniSat devices will be able to receive premium content from Sky delivered via satellite from December on. Such devices include the TechniLine 32 HD* and TechniLine 40 HD Full HD digital TVs and the TechniStar S1 and S1+ and DIGIT HD8+ digital receivers. Additional TechniSat devices for receiving Sky will follow, including the new digital TVs in the MultyVision range and the DIGIT ISIO S and DigiCorder ISIO S hybrid receivers.
HD bonus for TechniSat customers
From December, purchase of one of the TechniSat devices mentioned above will include a voucher for the free CI Plus module from Sky. During the December promotional period, customers who take out any Sky subscription will be able to use the associated voucher to receive not only the Sky CI Plus module but also the corresponding Sky HD pack free for 12 months. For example, if a customer takes out a subscription for the Sky Sports pack during the above promotional period, he or she will also receive the associated Sky HD pack for the Sky Sport HD 1 and Sky Sport HD 2 channels free for 12 months.
The introductory offer also applies to devices already purchased
Customers who already own a suitable CI+ enabled TechniSat device will also receive a voucher for the Sky introductory offer from their TechniSat dealer on request. Therefore, the device just has to be inspected by the TechniSat dealer for its applicability.
