TechniSat Digital S.A. and DiZiPiA Inc. to create Joint Venture

TechniSat Digital is a leading manufacturer of DVB products in Europe with production facilities in Germany and throughout the European Community. TechniSat is foremost known for its high quality products, “Made in Europe”, and with three in-house R&D Departments, TechniSat Digital is able to react flexibly to both the needs of the market and its customers.

TechniSat has numerous sales locations staffed by highly specialized sales personnel. For the group headquarters in Daun/Germany, the most important markets are the German-speaking territories of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. However, in addition to these home markets, the retail export market is served throughout the European Union. In Poland, UK and Hungary the production and R&D functions are supported by Sales & Marketing departments where the sales managers have served their respective markets successfully. The international headquarters TechniSat Digital S.A. located in Luxembourg is responsible for the Retail business outside the European Union as well as OEM and project businesses; which is the main focus of the start-up Joint Venture.

The Joint Venture created by TechniSat Digital and DiZiPiA Inc. has its core business in developing and extending marketing activities of Embedded CAS STBs in Eastern Europe. To secure and extend the market position of both companies in this sector and to meet the market requirements effectively; TechniSat Digital and DiZiPiA Inc. will combine their advantages to fulfill these requirements.
