New TV channel launched on ASTRA
Whether you are enthusiastic about modern technology, interested or just plain exasperated – listen up! With effect from the 1st of March, 2007, TechniTipp TV replaces the previous Channel 50 of the TechniSat group of companies. The new TV channel is available all across Germany and the whole of Europe in unencrypted form via ASTRA 19,2º East, on Transponder 111, Frequency 12.604 Ghz, Pol. H (SR 22000, FEC 5/6).
At last, some light in the jungle of digital technical terms. HDTV, WLAN, USB, DVB-T, IP-TV – an increasing flood of technical terms is thrown at us in this digital world, in which everything and anything appears to be possible. TechniTipp TV will present the digital world to you in terms that are easy to understand. TechniTipp TV provides comprehensive information, explains how technical things fit into a context, shows the latest market trends, and generally brings the digital world into your living room. You have questions on how to operate your latest piece of technological equipment? Not a problem, TechniTipp TV provides a forum for you. You ask whatever you wish, and the TechniTipp team of experts will provide the answers. The „Techni-Tipps“ get under way on the 1st of May 2007, a preview is already available now. You, too, will learn how an Internet radio provides reception of almost 2000 different stations, or marvel at the fact that the new HD-Vision LCD television sets produced by TechniSat come equipped with three different digital receivers on board – as standard.
