The TechniSat DigitMod is available in two variants, the S1 (for digital satellite reception) and the T1 (for digital terrestrial television, or DVB-T). It measures only 16 cm in width, barely a handful, and is suited for extremely varied operating conditions.
With immediate effect, the two variants will both be delivered with an additional infra-red (IR) feature. The special infra-red sensor allows you to set up the receiver in a hidden, or invisible location, such as behind the television set or in your television console or rack, while still operating the receiver conveniently via your remote control. The perfect solution for all those who do not wish to place any additional equipment visibly close to their TV set.
As with all other TechniSat digital receivers, the TechniSat DigitMod features the integrated free electronic programme guide ?SiehFern INFO?. ?SiehFern INFO? is editorially processed at a very high level, and provides a comprehensive programme preview for up to seven days in advance, as well as sophisticated programme search and sorting functions. Depending on which variant is selected (S1 or T1), the software of the TechniSat DigitMod is automatically updated either via satellite or via antenna. This means that the TechniSat DigitMod will always remain up to date.
In addition to the ?SiehFern INFO? programme guide and the automatic software updating function, the S1 version of the TechniSat DigitMod is also equipped with the ISIPRO programme list manager. ISIPRO keeps you informed at regular intervals of any additional programmes available, and existing programmes that may no longer be broadcast. If the viewer wishes, the manager will provide the most up-to-date and current programme lists ? free, and downloadable directly via satellte. In the fast-changing world of digital satellite programming, this is a really useful feature, allowing you to remain up to date at all times.
