The German trade journal DIGITAL FERNSEHEN (Digital Television) tested four so-called miniature satellite antennae in its July edition. In these tests, the TechniSat DigiDish 33 (with an antenna diameter of only 33 centimeters) was awarded the highest possible rating ?very good?, emerging as a clear test winner compared to the other three brands tested. DIGITAL FERNSEHEN particularly praised the DigiDish 33 particularly with regard to the very high signal strengths levels achieved, up to 80 decibels on ASTRA 19.2° East, the best on test by a comfortable margin. In addition, DIGITAL FERNSEHEN states: ?The test winner, the TechniSat DigiDish 33, impressed with its very good technical performance, allowing it to receive other orbital satellite positions such as Eutelsat Hotbird 13° East without a problem.?
Small dish, tremendous performance and channel choice
The DigiDish 33 is designed to make TechniSat products accessible to a whole new category of customers. This small but tremendously powerful satellite antenna can be installed in many locations in which there is not enough space for a conventional size satellite antenna. This is particularly important where either building restrictions or restrictions in rental contracts preclude conventional installations.
Various options of installing a DigiDish ? even without drilling a hole in the wall
The compact DigiDish 33 can be installed almost anywhere, and can be installed in such a way that it becomes almost invisible. For this purpose, TechniSat provides various mounting and installation options. One example is the balcony stand including a holder for a concrete pavement slab, which allows you to install the DigiDish easily on your balcony, without having to bolt the stand down. As an alternative for balcony mounting, TechniSat also provides a height-adjustable balcony mount. In order to give you flexibility while you are traveling, TechniSat has designed the suction-cup clamp, which will provide easy DigiDish installation on any smooth surface (e.g. a pane of glass).
All you need in a single package ? satellite reception made easy
TechniSat markets the DigiDish in complete kit packages that are attractive to consumers. Each of these packages contains everything you need for digital satellite reception. This includes the high-performance satellite antenna DigiDish 33, made of aluminum, with a diameter of only 33 cm, a wall mount with innovative new pre-assembled technology as well as 10 m of cable. In addition, the package includes a powerful digital satellite receiver. In terms of receivers, customers can choose between the DigitMod S1 and DIGIT MF4-S models. At present and for a limited period, TechniSat has even included the necessary tools in the package. We just don?t know how we could make installation any easier. This means enjoying the multitude of digital TV and radio channels becomes child?s play, even for customers who have no particular technical talents. TechniSat markets the DigiDish complete packages for either one or two receiving parties.
