The German business newspaper Handelsblatt selected its choice of the best products of 2004 in its issue of 23 December 2004. In the category of ?Companies and Markets?, the newspaper chose, along with the BMW 1 series and the Apple iPod, DVB-T receivers used for the reception of digital terrestrial antenna-based television broadcasts as one of the top products of the year.
