A new software update now supplied with the TechniSat hard drive receiver DigiCorder S1 adds even more features. The new functions include comprehensive editing and cutting functions, which allow you to mark sections of a recording that you do not want to store, such as advertising, and to remove these sections easily. Another new feature allows you to automatically extend recording times, either at the beginning or at the end of the set time, thus avoiding the inconvenience of parts of a programme not being recorded when there are minor shifts in broadcasting times. Yet another new feature allows you to view a movie that is already stored on the hard drive, while at the same time recording another programme on the hard drive.
Further interesting auxiliary functions include a jog-shuttle function integrated in the editing function, setting jump marks when viewing a recording, recording of teletext and teletext sub-titles, recording of up to four audio tracks, menu to facilitate manual updating of the programme list (ISIPRO), and a selectable CI operating mode.
The DigiCorder is thus now provided with an even greater variety of features than it has already had in the past.
